My blog has been really dead for the past month no? =)
Lots happened. Oweek came and went, i met a whole bunch of fun-loving people and think some of them would be featured in my uni life quite abit. Photos of every stupid thing done by me and them are on facebook. Even the unglam shots are there... Eeks. Luckily mine are all not TOO bad. Just that i tend to stone so my facial expression when i'm caught unaware is really spaced out.
My birthday came as well... I'm 19!! Doesn't feel much different maybe cause in the light of so many transitions i have to go through, adding one more to the digit that signifys my age does not affect me as much as going to uni for example. I had interesting experiences around my birthday period though... Some as memories that i will always rmb. I still can't believe that mian and yung went shopping tgt to get me and san gifts!!! The 2 that are at logger-heads with each other surviving the entire shopping trip. So touched that they managed to put aside their differences to achieve the common goal of getting a gift for me that i would like. They got me perfume. =) And my army boy cooked for me. Nothing too elaborate but sweet and the effort, also commendable. haha. my og also celebrated with me. The brownie and icecream, sweetness redefined. =) Jojo and gang also bought me a cake and surprised me with it. I was totally caught unaware! =) It sure was a joyful event, my 19th birthday. Thanks to all who have made this special day so filled with warmth of friendship, love, care and well-wishes.
Uni life is VERY different from jc. U are given so much freedom that ironically, it stifles u. Being in the arts fac and having total free reign over ur own timetable is such a scary thought. Bidding for all 5 of ur modules and pulling ur hair out over how many points to put down for each mod to secure it, and then on to balloting for tutorial slots... the whole process is so damn stressful!!! The amount of readings u have to do for each mod is also scary. Lecturers come from all over the world so good luck to u if u are unable to understand their distinct accent! U are really put charge of ur own learning... Now i'm missing the spoonfeeding days. U think u had it hard in jc.. wait till u enter uni. Its a whole new ball game, though they still converge on one simple point-mugging is inevitable. bleh.
Okie i'll blog again in the recent future. bye.
