Yeah keep the comments coming. I'm listening. Almost convinced myself not to get it already... but it is so chio i'm lusting after it. blah. maybe i'll have to find a substitute to lust after.. Hmm.. so if not sony vaio then wad models do you people suggest?

And my skin's is so irritated its an ugly shade of red. I'm lazy to take a picture but just imagine: Cooked lobster oh with really white fish belly body... ouch. i hope it doesn't peel at all. Maybe my kisses will help it heal. HAHA. I'm kidding. I just lack moisturiser and sunblock. I better invest in some soon...
My swimming has been improving, slowly remembering wad i was taught so long ago. I still think i swim like... a sea slug? Basically not moving much. HAHA. pathetic me. It can only get better though. so fingers crossed. =)
And swimming with tabby has been quite fun. The slide!! HAHA. makes me feel so young. and i like the way we slide down one behind another. Sweets.

Driving has been... Amusing to say the least.
My instructor has "interesting" habits. That i shudder to think about. EW.

I'm so thinking of getting my hands on the Sony vaio TZ36. It sounds like a real good deal on paper but i'm still hesitant about it for not much reason except the fact that the price is steep. Will it be a good investment? Any comments? I need some geeky information right now.

...who'd ever know that i would be comfortable talking about processors and internal/external hard disk, ports all the jargon that only moments ago was liken to instruments the dentist used to produce excruciating pain in your mouth...

So if u have any comments, either ones that would encourage me to BUY it or any to TRASH the whole idea, i'd love to hear it.

It doesn't help that it is so chic. xp

I've found the perfect way of describing You. You are the safe harbor that I know and yet you are not a permanent fixture as of yet that's why my ship is still out at sea, looking for that place where i would be safe and warm and secure.

There i think that's a great way of putting it.

And dear? I'm terrified of you because of the feelings i have. tell me you feel the same way too. and right the world i'm living in.

I know i'm freaking lucky to have had my appeal being successful. FASS here i come. Its final. My school for the next 4 yrs-NUS.

In 2 days.. I've watched "The Incredible Hulk" TWICE! Once with kor and another with sy and ken.

Check out the movie. After the first time i watched it, i was confused about the ending and some ambiguous parts in the movie. The second time around, it was much clearer and the ending was explained by ken. At least he came out with a probability for the appearance of someone that i couldn't place at first. I want to say more but it is just too much of a spoiler and i'm afraid i'll spoil the movie for those who have yet to find time for this really incredible movie. I'll just say that the ending leaves much to anticipate...

I'd say that the movie does a great combination of humour, wit, adventure and human faults. There were some points where the whole cinema burst out laughing and one part where the more sensitive ones were cringing in their seats (i did.). Alright i think i'm in danger of revealing scenes... so for any other detail, either read the reviews written by the pros or best yet, watch it for yourself!=)

There was one part in the movie that really set me thinking. Being a fugitive and on the run, without the aid of plastic and any sort of identification, what would i do to give away my location to the people i'm running away from? I'm quite a careless person. I think i would probably last all of 24 hours before hunger, tiredness, and visions of home overwhelm me and i'll just walk into the police station. HAHA!! Just what an "adventurous" person i am yeah? How do you suppose you'll let up?

Seriously speaking, how are you to survive in this world without money? I'm not so ignorant, so i do know that in certain countries where the government has too much in its hands, birth certs or any such form of identification papers are scarce or just unattainable. The people would usually be poor too and yet they scrape by, making a living somehow and obtaining food. But to be on the run, how do you cross borders without any papers?? If it were really that easy, won't we be living in a flawed world with boundaries like tracing paper? And just how much money can you obtain by begging and pawning your valuable belongings? There is a limit, no? Even if you try to survive by working as a commoner, you'll still be a misfit in society because in order to keep yourself invisible (figuratively) you'll have to keep your identity and personal life away from scrutiny and might be regarded as an oddball which does not serve well in any community, moreover, you are passively distinguishing yourself from the crowd which contradicts your initial intentions. Its a wonder...

-------

Met up with sy jacob mingjie and ken for lunch/hightea/dinner at ikea ytd. =) Had meatballs!!! Haha. And it was cool seeing ken again.

Mixing around too much with sy makes me more prone to doing weird actions in public now. I had better watch myself if not people might think i'm psychotic with a constant wound up musical box in my brain playing music only i can hear. Haha.

Alrights. Bye!

Okie i think i realise something today... I've got a phobia of deep water. Nope i'm not kidding... Yes i can swim though.

Its been so so long since i had a proper swim. With tab and del today at tampines swimming complex. Everything was alright at the 1.2m side then tab asked to swim the length... Swim swim halfway i panicked. No reason. Tsk tsk. But i persevered and managed to swim all the way! though i was really slow. Haha!! Don't blame me... I was just warming up.

That point of time where i panicked, i felt that drowning sensation. The fear in my mouth. My heart started beating so fast and so loud, it was all i could hear. It really wasn't easy. I couldn't reach the bottom of the pool and stand up. It took almost every fiber of me to find some courage, kick the bottom, close my eyes and make myself believe everything is alright and swim on. Slowly i got over my fright, looking forward i moved on and finished that lap. I gulped down some of the swimming pool water la. major EW!

After that it was easier swimming already once i got over the omg-i'm-afraid-i'll-drown sensation. then as luck would have it, i got a leg cramp. Oh wells. Note to self never to go into a pool without first showering AND doing warmups. Not going to repeat my cramp in the middle of the pool again... that was the worst i swear...

I shall venture to the pool again soon. I promise.

I also had my first driving lesson today too. Eventful day huh. =)
I had so much fun!! Gears 1,2 and 3!! and i was on the road too!! Exhilarating was the experience. Now i can't wait for my 2nd lesson!

Meeting the instructor for the first time was a tiring experience. Communication breakdown.. i took more than 5 mins to look for him la! Walking and circling the whole Eunos mrt literally. He looks like a grandpa sort and he seems to have much faith in me. Taught me in chinese but its alright. You should have heard me in the beginning, trying to grapple with the language. Haha... but as i went on it became better. =)

Clutch, biting point, accelerator, brake, change gear, indicate signal. Its hard coordinating but cool!! I made the engine stall like 3 times? On the main road. HURRAY. -.-" So sorry other road users. Can't say i didn't freak out BUT it was FUN!!

----

Just got an email from nus. thought it was about my appeal.. instead they asked me to do their survey. Blah. Fingers still crossed.

Okie this is a very laggy post. Mingjie's 19th!!! I realised that all the photos are with me and i have not had the chance to do a proper blog post about it so here goes... =)

People who turned out for the celebrations: Mingjie (duh.. star of the whole 'party'), Jacob (sure to be there...), simyee, angela and me.

Birthdate: 29th April 1989
Celebration of 19th birthday on: 30th April 2008
Places of slacking and celebrations: pastamania @ Ehub! and swensons at whitesands.

Now i shall let the pics talk...

The birthday boy being nice to angela by carrying her bag. Blah. Abit gay la but nice nonetheless. haha!! He even posed for the shot!

Look at jacob. Peeking through his fingers...

All smiles.

Just me and angela.

THAMS!

Poised. no?

Cake.

Birthday boy birthday wish.

We made him do that!! Simyee's idea.

Pictures were all taken by simyee save for a handful that's why you probably don't see her face anywhere... artistic shots as she claims. Those above are not it. I still have some really unglam shots. Do ask me for them. =)

Introducing....

Now that's a really cool place that is worth bringing your friends to for a nice leisurely chat or maybe for a cozy warm time with your other half. Hmm didn't take a pic of the seating but you have my word that the ambiance there is good. Orangie light from the overhead revolving circle of illumination...

Was there with lisabelle and shukit. Shared this couple fondue thingy that was delightfully nice. 8 pieces of waffle (cut), 5 scoops of icecream, cut fruits which includes green apples and banana (yum! banana in choc is the BEST!) and mushmellows!! (i love mussies don't you know?). Not forgetting the star which is a whole bowl of smooth flowy swiss chocolate with a small plate of roasted crushed peanuts. Lovely. I'll show u pictures...

Notice the hand there that kept obstructing my nice lovely photos? Blame shukit!! He was so so so eager to eat he can't wait till i have taken a nice picture of the food before it befalls his destruction. I like the last picture best. =)

And our sticky pads...

They had this custom where patrons can write anything they desire on little sticky pads and paste them on the walls all around. We saw a couple of really cute ones and many were just not imaginative, drawing waffles again and again.

Ours.. Well.. the top one is drawn by shukit who was still hyped up about the FREE table soccer game around the corner (These 2 blockheads were having so much fun playing with it no one answered my calls. I was pissed man. Haha at first felt so stood up who knows they were just more interested in the table soccer game and entertaining bored working executives than picking up my calls. Blah!) The one at the bottom left is mine! Haha lisabelle said the fondue thingy looked like a PSP and i can't help but agree with her. Then she went on to rent about how much she dislikes PSP. Hmm.. i sheepishly agreed with her. And the last post-it is hers. The lotus looking boarder that looks more like jellyfish to me. Haha don't worry belle it still looks nice. =) And thanks shukit for commenting on my nice handwriting!! Yeah get that? I've got nice handwriting!!

So we were having the fondue, chatting laughing and poking fun at each other when i place my hand behind my back and realise to my horror that with my short tee and stubborn low waist pants that OMG my undies were visible. Thank goodness they were proper nice ones that could see the light of day. It was so very embarrassing because the waiter was like standing behind me the whole entire time and there wasn't any other customers at that time slot that we were there, i doubt there was much which could have distracted him from noticing this awful fact. Peeking out. Urgh and to think i already wore a belt!!! blah.

Okie i shall end off this post. With a smile. =)

Everytime i venture to speak my mind and reveal my heart here, I lose courage...

Someone please tell me what's going on.

with my bro beside me and the pot boiling on the stove and the rice not yet cooked and my pasta not even opened, i sure am a bored person with a million and one housekeeping things to do. Entertaining my bro sure is an amusing task. One that is hard to describe in terms that is easily understood. He's an exasperating and yet lovable person sometimes i look at him and think of how our relationship can be so love-hate sometimes when he's being the difficult him that he can morph into. But he entertains me too, not afraid of showing me his view of the world by bugging me with his language of different things and making me decipher and elaborate on it. It is always interesting seeing the things he see and hold dear. He for one LOVES lego. That few precious pieces of lego would rarely leave his hands. Seeing him play with them is like trying to solve another mystery. There is simply no logic to the way he plays. haha just fixing them together and then dismantling them almost immediately. See what i mean?

AND! He insists on calling me "meimei". -.-" Considering the 3 year difference i feel totally usurped of my authority! It brings giggles to my parents though. We all find it hilarious the way he does it-unassuming and innocently. I can't resist hugging him. Well... somethings are really blessings in disguise. Life would be so different without him in my life. It might be easier but i won't have my constant supply of laughter and affection. =)

----

Watched "Kungfu Panda" yesterday with wx in a cinema filled with kids! I felt for a moment like a 3 year old again sitting there in anticipation of the movie and the oh-so-cutie characters that appeal so much to the childish. There! i said it. Haha. The seats were comfortable. Oh i forgot to mention that i went to vivo cinemax. Chose that place cause i've never been there for a movie before. Hmm... It looks like lt4 in mj actually or maybe lt1 in vj. 3 blocks of seating and the seats... hmm.. nice to curl up in-i like! Those who are trying to decide whether to watch it, my verdict-YES! It is really touching at some parts and surely it is entertaining and funny! Panda panda pandamonium! =)

I'm rambling... i know i know. Yup then went to ecp cause the weather was just too nice to waste inside a big white building called vivocity. Took a bus there and along the journey i was trying to understand the psp game. Just gave me a crick in the neck and just that little bit of enlightenment. There is just this bit of serenity in sitting on a stone bench in perfect weather next to each other with sailors out at sea weaving patterns unconcernedly and a fishermen idling around about their own business and cyclists behind shouting at each other not to cut into their paths. The surge of happiness and wellbeing makes me want to hold on to that moment and never let go. "The weather really very nice leh..." Yes it was a beautiful day.

Say when will i see u again? hearing your long and added on schedule... hmm i'll just wait.

2 more months till school starts. Now back to my driving book.

BACK! From a shopping trip that was so out of this world. Place to be at: Thailand, Bangkok

It was a great 5 day trip. Nothing less of a relaxing, pure shopping bliss. I am so shocked by the amount of clothes and accessories that i have bought. Well for a rough estimation, i think i bought over 60 items!! Well bulk of the shopping and luggage space was taken up by me. hee. I didn't plan it that way just that the clothes there were dirt cheap, compared to Singapore, i couldn't resist the temptation and there you have it, a whole new wardrobe. =)

Whew. I bet i have loads of leg muscles now. They even look more toned to me already. Darker too for sure since i insisted on wearing shorts and slippers all around. Walking all around the WHOLE entire day sure is tiring and i think i even have stomach muscles developing. Haha too bad i still have loads of fats covering those muscles so i still look the same and not like some model. Yeah that is what i should strive to achieve.

I went there with much emotional baggage and not much luggage. Came back with lesser worries and much much more luggage. That's the best part of the trip besides the fact that i got to spend 5 whole days with my most loved people- my family. Lets see... 5x24 hrs together. I'm glad to say that it was enjoyable and not a pain in the ass. HAHA!! Like it will ever be.

Love the way of life they have there. So simple and so stress-free. Their approach to life seems to be happy-go-lucky so unlike Singapore. Noticed that the people there don't seem to have much grey hair. Maybe that's the reason.

OH YA! Next time when you happen to see me, please tell me what colour my hair is. I have been trying to name the colour and not succeeding in it. SO i need your help! Okie okie? So do that the next time and please! don't stare at my hair when you are doing that. It'll be creepy.

I know i'm a lousy blogger but just let me type as i remember. Yeah Bangkok sells these tees with wordings on them that are super suggestive! Yes i know Singapore sells them too but that's not the point. Well, the tees have suggestive undertones but many people do not realise them!! I even saw kids buying such tees with no inkling at all to what they are claiming to those reading their tees that are loudly proclaiming stuff such as "Take me for a drive baby" (read: ride me baby) or "Spooning leads to forking" (obviously a play on pronunciation!!) and so many more that i can't remember. Oh. naivety.

Platinum. THE place to go for shopping!! It is freaking scary the number of shops there are in that building dedicated to girls/women/the females... SERIOUSLY!! There are 6 levels, the top most being the foodcourt. The rest of the 5 levels... Serious shopping grounds for females. The whole of level 5 is accessories. I went there and never wanted to leave, and after a while, i began to experience starry-eyed phenomenon. There's just too much to see and buy! And the most amazing thing is that the shops are not like those found in far-east plaza where repeats of styles of clothes are everywhere. EVERY freaking shop sells different clothes!! Can you totally imagine that? That's the reason for my frenzied shopping experience. haha! The first thought i had when i stepped into that particular mall for the first time was "No wonder the guys here would want to go for a sex change...". Heh. Girls are so pampered there, getting to sit around in shops, selling their wares with the attitude of "you can approach me if anything catches your eye, if not i'm just going to sit here and relax".. Guys, a whole new different story. Have to drive around in taxis or tuktuks, a generally more demanding lifestyle...

You know, even though transversites are such a common sight in Bangkok, i'm still uncomfortable whenever i meet anyone of them. I just freak out. I wonder why. Its just so weird looking at a female's appearance and listening to a man's voice with an adam's apple bobbing up and down. EW! I can't understand it. I'm just repulsed by the whole image and thought. Urgh. Nothing against them as a person... its just... I can't explain it. Probably because i'm an idealist? I don't know really.

And i guess i look thai. The thai people just love to talk to me in thai and mistake me for the shopkeepers, asking me the price of this and that. urgh. and apparently i am good with directions and memory of the layout of the city area, dad and mom always comments that i was probably a thai in my past life as i take on the role of tour guide. BLAH! maybe that's why i'm attracted to a certain someone eh. haha. stupid.

I bought super many things...
and as ying xieng have to say...

™ Different Worlds says:
60!!! (referring to the number of things i bought)
™ Different Worlds says:
what u buy so many!
™ Different Worlds says:
eh they are cheap not FREE leh
™ Different Worlds says:
haha
next time. with photos if i'm in the mood.

and will you care that you evaded my thoughts?

anything that strikes my fancy.
